In this course, students will synthesize their technological communications coursework through an application of their skills to a real-world organization. They will complete a semester-long project and participate in weekly seminars. In addition, students will work closely with a client to assess their needs and design a project that addresses those needs. The class is a required part of the Technological Communications major, but may also be taken by others who wish to develop their professional communication skills.
APK is a file format that is used by Android devices to bundle apps together. This is different from the IPA format that iOS devices use to bundle apps. APK files are usually stored in the internal file system of an Android device and can be accessed through a File Manager app. It is possible to download third-party APK apps from outside of Google Play Store, but this should only be done with caution as these files are not validated by Google and may contain viruses that could harm your device.
Another way to install third-party APK apps on your device is to use an Android emulator on your computer. These emulators are programs that allow you to run Android apps on your PC or Mac laptop. One of the most popular and easiest to use is BlueStacks. It can be downloaded from the BlueStacks website and is available for Windows 7/8/10 desktop / laptop and Mac OS. This method has the added benefit of running Android apps faster and smoother than other methods.
